Package: checkinstall Version: 1.5.3-3 Severity: wishlist There's been a beta (1.6.0beta4) out since December. Which is not to be interpreted as a critique but just an indicator, that it might be quite stable. However I'm neither involved in checkinstalls development nor am I following the mailing list, so I have absolutely no clue - it's just an indicator.
1.6.0beta4 features (AFAICS) some very nice additions such as: * being able to reuse the spec file - so you don't have to enter the same info over and over again * dependencies Thanks, *t -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (50, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.22 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages checkinstall depends on: hi file 4.12-1 Determines file type using "magic" ii installwatch 0.6.3-1 Track installation of local softwa -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
