Hello! I noticed Daniel Schepler already implemented this for the mariadb-connector-c in https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-mysql/mariadb-client-lgpl.git/commit/?id=d6326dc57c042c4ab91ef448c959db853e374384
The same thing should be ported over the libmariadbclient18 in the mariadb-10.0.git repo and tested that it works and that all links to the plugins become updated. Any takers?
