Package: octave-nan Version: 3.0.2-1 The octave-nan package includes the matlab libsvm toolbox which is an interface to the C++ library libsvm [1]. libsvm is already package in Debian [2] but the octave-nan package seems statically linked with the outdated version of libsvm that is distributed with the octave nan package.
