Package: webalizer
Version: 2.01.10-27
Followup-For: Bug #333801

Hi,

in /etc/cron.daily/webalizer, webalizer ist started with the option -q:

# Run webalizer quietly
${WEBALIZER_BIN} -c ${WEBALIZER_CONF} -q
${WEBALIZER_BIN} -c ${WEBALIZER_CONF} -q ${nonrotatedlog}

This overrides the config file and set verbose to 1, causing warnings to
appear by oversized fields.

To solve the problem, I would say that uncomenting the option
#Quiet yes
in /etc/webalizer and suppressing -q in /etc/cron.daily sould do the
trick: if the user wants a different quiet mode, he will modify
/etc/webalizer.conf, but will never think of /etc/cron.daily/webalizer.

This should also solve bug #311340.

Cheers, tibob
