Package: intltool Version: 0.50.2-3 Severity: normal Tags: patch
Dear Maintainer, the current version of intltool in stretch generates Makefiles that install files to /usr/@DATADIRNAME@/locale/ instead of /usr/share/locale/ . I came across this problem, because I tried to install audio-recorder from source. See https://code.launchpad.net/~audio-recorder/audio-recorder/trunk for latest source code of audio-recorder. intltool upstream already fixed this issue. See https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~intltool/intltool/trunk/revision/742 for a patch. I applied this patch locally and the problem did not occur anymore. I think this bug has potential to cause trouble for everyone who is maintaining a package which uses intltool in the build process.
