reportbug should have displayed the following notice:

If you are reporting a bug about the way menus are displayed, please
provide the name and version of the window manager (or menu manager)
you use. You can use the output of
dpkg-query -l <window manager package name>
Without this information, it is unlikely I can address this bug.
Did you run update-menus as a normal user ? In this case you get a user
menu which is not automatically updated by packages upgrade until you
rerun update-menus.
