Package: bittorrent Version: 3.4.2-6 Severity: normal bittorrent uses a lot of my processor's resources. upstream indicates that there is a bug in libc on some unix systems (bsd and solaris). they provide a command-line option as a workaround. however, the Debian version does not include this option. details about the problem can be found in the bittorrent faq http://www.bittorrent.com/FAQ.html#allmycpu. does the problem even affect the linux version? is there any other way to reduce the cpu utilization of bittorrent?
