Tried the following options:
adding resume=/dev/mapper/vg0-swap or resume=UUID=xxxx to
/etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume
and
adding resume=/dev/mapper/vg0-swap or resume=UUID=xxxx to
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT
update-grub && update-initramfs -u & cold boot before testing hibernate.
