Sure, however, I think there were some limitations in my patch from
back then. Please could you change it to:
-BUILD_HOST = debian
+BUILD_HOST = generic
-BUILD_USER = debian
+BUILD_USER = generic
BUILD_DATE = $(shell dpkg-parsechangelog --show-field=Date)
-BUILD_SHORT_DATE = $(shell date --date="$(BUILD_DATE)" +%D)
+BUILD_SHORT_DATE = $(shell date --utc --date="$(BUILD_DATE)" +%D)
It shouldn't "really" say Debian in our derivatives (or it would
just be a bit confusing), and we need to print the date in the UTC
timezone.
Very happy to upload once this is done.
