Hi Santiago, thanks a lot for the patch. I did not test it, but I hope it should be OK, because the similar patch was applied for OpenFOAM package (in progress).
I will try to build freefoam within the next few days and close the bug. Also OpenFOAM package is almost ready: if it will be accepted, I would prefer to drop freefoam completely due to a stopped upstream development.
