Hello, I experience this same issue using icedove 45.2.0-4+b1, and a gmail.com account : Icedove could not longer connect to GMAIL using IMAP/AUTH2. Following this, I deleted the saved IMAP password and AUTH token to force a re-authentification. I was greeted by a blank oauth window.
Downgrading to 45.2.0-1~deb8u1 fixed this. I was able to re-authenticate using AUTH, and fetch new emails at imap.gmail.com. The following file disappeared between the two releases, could this be related ? /usr/lib/icedove/chrome.manifest Guillaume
