Package: vim-common Version: 2:8.0.0003-1 Severity: normal Hi,
on my /etc/vim/vimrc.local I have these two settings (among others): set viminfo= set mouse= that are ignored (or maybe overwritten) when I launch vim. I found a workaround to “force” those settings when I use vim: setting a symlink like this: ~/.vimrc -> /etc/vim/vimrc.local With that symlink in place .viminfo file and mouse are disabled. If I remove that symlink they are not. Thanks. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.7.3 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages vim-common depends on: ii xxd 2:8.0.0003-1 Versions of packages vim-common recommends: ii vim-nox [vim] 2:8.0.0003-1 vim-common suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
