Bug#838002: Libreoffice-writer formatting dialogs take too long to open

Package: libreoffice-writer
Version: 1:5.2.1-1

Opening the dialog Format->Character from the menu took around 1 min 41 
sec. I tried:
- removing the .config/libreoffice directory
- increasing usable memory in the extras->options
- # fc-cache -f -v
After the last action, the delay went down to 1 minute. Still way to long.
The bug is consistently repeatable.
My distribution is an up-to-date sid.
Any help?
