Package: xdg-utils
Version: 1.1.1-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

I run xdg-mime query filetype foobar.png

   * What was the outcome of this action?

Empty answer

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

The mimetype

   * What is the reason?

For XFCE, xdg-mime uses info_gnome / gvfs-info

        gnome*|cinnamon|lxde|mate|xfce)
        info_gnome "$filename"
        ;;

However, gvfs-info is not installed on a default XFCE box (while "mimetype" or
"file -i" are installed).
