Package: libusb-0.1-4
Version: 2:0.1.11-3
Severity: normal

On my laptop, the most common use of USB is for pilot-link to a Treo
600. After my 2006-01-23 update of the package, pilot-xfer would exit
with a SIGSEGV before initiating any sync activity with the Treo.

I'm not sure what the previously-installed version of libusb was, but
I do a dselect update just about every day.

I was unable to get any useful information from GDB, but strace showed
the problem occurring just after the USB serial device /dev/ttyUSB1
was successfully opened.

This problem recurred after a restart of my X environment (I was
suspicious of the gnome-pilot applet) but was fixed by rebooting the
computer.

Thanks,
Bill Gribble
