The bug still exists.  For example:

puf -xg -pr+ 
'http://home.sus.mcgill.ca/webpic/core.pl?back.dirtype=file-auto&core.dir=%2Falex.gutierrez%2F2003-11-07&core.user=mstoll&front.autoorient=2'
(sorry for the long URL)

will not download some of the images (specifically those that are
landscape), since they are behind a 302 redirect.

When adding the -vvv to puf, puf will show the 302 as "relocating", yet
the images are not downloaded.
