Without networking, I couldn't get to the network to download updates to Debian Testing. Debian Testing also doesn't sense USB ethernet devices; I tried using a Netgear FA120 USB->Ethernet adapter to work around the Forcedeth install issue, but it wasn't found by Debian's installer. The kernel included with Debian Testing also doesn't see my Fusion5HDTV card; the 2.6.15 kernel is needed to support it, but I couldn't get Debian Testing installed to update the kernel :-P I ended up successfully installing using Kanotix to stay with the a Debian distribution... _______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web! -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
