If I try to open the > settings for it, the dialog pops up asking Ahah. Having poked around this some more I think I have a workaround in my case. It turns out some system-level thing was running "light-locker" on my behalf, which I suspect was the process that locked the screen in a broken way. If I $ apt-get remove light-locker then I can freely suspend the machine without issue. Of course, this doesn't solve the problem for anyone who actually *does* want to use light-locker, but at least I personally now have a solution. -- Paul "LeoNerd" Evans leon...@leonerd.org.uk | https://metacpan.org/author/PEVANS http://www.leonerd.org.uk/ | https://www.tindie.com/stores/leonerd/
