You could always "debdiff old.dsc new.dsc" and reimport the changes.

Hmm. In such casem why don't you just orphan the package, if you are
no longer interested in it? Just because (I guess) you don't use
anymore does not mean it may not be useful for somebody else.

(I say this because I've seen too many packages being removed lately
without giving the opportunity for them to be maintained by someone
else).
