IMHO, it's not the packages' problem if aptitude does that. AFAICS apt does not.

Sure. They presumably were only installed because libreoffice-sdbc-firebird
and thus are now removed when you remove libreoffice-sdbc-firebird.

Which is most probably not what you want.

libreoffice-sdbc-firebird will (unfortunately) not come back for stretch.
Don't like this either, but you should complain at the firebird maintainer
for forcing firebird3.0 onto everyone at the last minute.
