IMHO, it's not the packages' problem if aptitude does that. Which is most probably not what you want. libreoffice-sdbc-firebird will (unfortunately) not come back for stretch. Don't like this either, but you should complain at the firebird maintainer for forcing firebird3.0 onto everyone at the last minute. Regards, Rene
