technically wikipedia says:

    "[P]arts of the /proc and /sys filesystems are left unvirtualized"

feel free to look at the fs/proc/*.c kernel files patched by a
linux-vserver patch to verify dreamhost's claim that "/proc ... nodes
are left unvirtualized".
