The hurd-i386 build of mdk3 failed: byteorder.h:177:35: fatal error: libkern/OSByteOrder.h: No such file or directory I expect you'd have better results with the linux branch of byteorder.h, but am not sure what tapping interfaces (if any) are available, so if you can't get this package to do anything useful on the Hurd, please simply adjust its Architecture field accordingly.
