Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal I'm requesting that gmime2 (binary packages libgmime2, libgmime2-dev and libgmime2-doc) be removed from unstable. Although gmime 2.0 is the stable branch and 2.1 the unstable branch, upstream is committed to ensuring that 2.1 is backwards compatible (even ABI-wise) with 2.0. There are also no packages currently in Debian that depend on libgmime2.
