Package: less
Version: 481-2.1
Severity: normal

Type the following:

  { printf "%d\n" `seq 1 100000`; sleep 999; } | less -j2

then / 1 [Return] to search for the characters "1". Then [PageUp].
At this time, "less" hangs.

Note: If one types [Down] before [PageUp], this problem does not
occur.
