I'm using notify-daemon with Gajim (GTK Jabber client). Gajim displays popups when a contact connects or when I receive a message. However, the way those popups are rendering is nearly unreadable (see attached screenshot). I had notification-daemon from experimental before, until notify-daemon came into SID, and popup rendering was not the same as notify-daemon : it was a _lot_ clearer. So, I guess the problem came from notify-daemon (since I haven't change anything from Gajim). However, there's not much debian documentation or even galago documentation on it ...
