To err on the side of caution, I didn't push my upstream tag either; you'll probably need to git tag upstream/1.7.6 ecd5c3dc5869e3bc4f0cc7f8c41a8a93eb8ab291 to build the the master (768719500f19fab7a06f8128373927f109a4ee9e). The package should build cleanly in any environment, and lintian should produce only spelling-error-in-description-synopsis warnings[1]. Please sponsor this as a team upload.
