Package: libxft2 Version: 2.1.8.2-2 Severity: important
It looks like the symbol "FT_GlyphSlot_Embolden" disappeared from the library since version 2.1.7-1. This causes various programs (such as mozilla-thunderbird) to crash with an error message when this thing is needed. Also, when I compile source code I get this: $ g++ program.c /usr/bin/../lib/libXft.so.2: undefined reference to `FT_GlyphSlot_Embolden' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status Reverting libXft2 to version 2.1.7-1 fixes the compile problem for me.
