Package: openafs-client Version: 1.4.0-3 Severity: wishlist
I have installed openafs on my laptop, which I sometimes boot without network connection. In this case, afsd adds significant overhead to the boot time as it takes a long time to give up looking for servers. Would it be possible to kill the initialization (with ctrl-C or similar)? Or, better, not to try to start if there is no network? -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages openafs-client depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.68 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.5-12 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libncurses5 5.5-1 Shared libraries for terminal hand Versions of packages openafs-client recommends: ii openafs-modules-2.6.15- 1.4.0-3+2.6.15-1 AFS distributed filesystem kernel ii openafs-modules-source 1.4.0-3 AFS distributed filesystem kernel -- debconf information: openafs-client/run-client: true openafs-client/crypt: true * openafs-client/cachesize: 50000 openafs-client/cell-info: openafs-client/fakestat: true openafs-client/afsdb: true * openafs-client/dynroot: false * openafs-client/thiscell: slac.stanford.edu -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
