Hey,
I just noticed that a testsuite I was working on in Ubuntu
(dbus-test-runner) stopped working with libpcap 1.8.1-3, whereas it
worked with 1.7.4.
root@steady-termite:~/dbus-test-runner-15.04.0+16.10.20160906/tests# bustle
--count test-bustle.bustle
bustle: test-bustle.bustle: hGetContents: invalid argument (invalid byte
sequence)
Reverting the above commit fixes it:
root@steady-termite:~/dbus-test-runner-15.04.0+16.10.20160906/tests# bustle
--count test-bustle.bustle
1 signal com.launchpad.dbustestrunner.signal
I'm not familiar with libpcap's API - can you help to see if bustle or
libpcap are wrong here please?
In the meantime I'll revert that commit in Ubuntu.
