You've just made an upload, fixing the maintainer address, but did not
do the rather easy change to facilitate upgrades from jessie. As adding a
dummy package requires NEW, the time to do so would be now.
Thus, could you consider making the following changes?:
For manual upgrades:
* iptraf-ng:
+ symlink /usr/sbin/iptraf -> iptraf-ng (plus the manpage)
+ debian/control: {Conflicts,Provides,Replaces}: iptraf
For apt:
* iptraf:
+ an empty package that Depends: iptraf-ng
