by passing --force-script-chrootless to dpkg, it will be possible in the future to install packages into a directory without needing to ever execute chroot(). Thus, only fakeroot is required and the whole multistrap run can get by without superuser privileges. Support for this could be added even now that this feature is not supported by packages yet for the purpose of testing it with packages that do support it.
