I left it out of the patch because I saw it was generated.
I would send a revised patch, but I'm unable to regenerate the manpage:
# a2x -f manpage how-can-i-help.1.txt
a2x: ERROR: "xmllint" --nonet --noout --valid ".../how-can-i-help.1.xml"
returned non-zero exit status 4
That's in a minimal sid VM, so I might be missing some dependency or another.
