Package: kodi Version: 2:17.0~beta5+dfsg1-4 Followup-For: Bug #784578 Dear Maintainer,
playback of ISO files is broken for me after upgrading the kodi packages from 16.1+dfsg1-2+b1 to 2:17.0~beta5+dfsg1-4. When I start playback of an DVD image, the kodi GUI just displays a "waiting animation" and hangs, while kodi is occupying most of the CPU. I found no way to stop or exit kodi besides killing the process. Playback of other video files (mp4, avi, ...) is fine. And the problem occurs no matter if the ISO file is on the local filesystem or remotely connected via sshfs or smb.
