OK apparently it does work offline, but maybe not like $ validate file.html Also mention if it can do HTML5 or not. OK apparently it doesn't. Warn in the Description. One would think, just like <!DOCTYPE html> doesn't mention html5, then maybe your package also doesn't mention it, though supporting it. Alas this is apparently not the case.
