Package: nsd
Version: 2.3.3-1
Severity: important
Justification: violates release requirements, but works well in reality

While testing nsd with piuparts, I found the following error:

  Setting up nsd (2.3.3-1) ...
  /var/lib/dpkg/info/nsd.postinst: line 9: /usr/sbin/addgroup: No such
file or directory
  dpkg: error processing nsd (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   nsd
  E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

The package needs to depend on adduser, since it uses addgroup (part of
adduser) and adduser isn't essential. This violates a release
requirement (see http://release.debian.org/etch_rc_policy.txt), which
normally would mean the bug is "grave", but since adduser *is* installed
on pretty much every Debian system, the missing dependency is unlikely
to cause real trouble in more than the most esoteric cases, and
therefore I don't think it warrants more than an "important" severity.
