It looks like idnkit isn't packaged. Bug 459009 was an RFP that made no
progress. libidn2-0-dev exists, but that seems to be an alternate
library. I've heard that Red Hat have a patch for bind to use it, so to
go in that direction we'd need to look into whether this would be
acceptable for us.

I'm not commenting on whether IDN would be appropriate to enable or not
I don't know enough about it without doing further research. But, it
would be appear that we're blocked anyway by a lack of idnkit in Debian,
_or_ we have to decide to patch bind9.
