Sorry, the bug system email ended up getting spamfiltered so I didn't see them. I've added some whitelisting.
I did an apt-get dist-upgrade right before I filed the bug.
I've just done another one, and pulled in a new python 2.7,
but it didn't help: I'm seeing the same error.
Is there any specific info you want from /var/log/apt/history.log ?
Should I attach the whole file, or grep for something in particular?
