Just for your information, the bug still exists in postfix-pcre 3.1.3-6 and I could not make it disappear by un-chrooting the different parts in the master.cf (and all the comments/informations in the ticket could not help either) n.b. : I don't have a pcre directory in /etc/postfix in my case, the problem appeared when upgrading from 3.1.3-4 and I had to downgrade in order to have a well functioning postfix again let me know if you want that I test other possibilities to solve this bug in my opinion, the gravity should be raised as it renders postfix unusable (bouncing mails) because the header_checks does not work -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (90, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.16-2-486 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages postfix-pcre depends on: ii libc6 2.24-8 ii libpcre3 2:8.39-2 ii postfix 3.1.3-6 postfix-pcre recommends no packages. postfix-pcre suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
