Package: ipset Followup-For: Bug #848940 Hello Gedalya,
I try to reproduce this bug on my machine but it doesn't. From your debug log, I follow the "syntax error" in _ipset_know_hosts(), perhaps, there are something wrong in _known_hosts_real(). Please ensure that the installed bash-completion is the latest one (1:2.1-4.3) but I quite sure that you have done already. Therefore, please do the further debugging in the /usr/share/bash-completion/bash_completion for _known_hosts_real() function. It look weird, === 8< === else if '[[' '"$awkcur"' == 1 2 ']];' then 'awkcur="^$awkcur.*[.:]";' ^ syntax error -----------| === 8< === Cheers, Neutron Soutmun -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-rc8-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages ipset depends on: ii iptables 1.6.0+snapshot20161117-4 ii libc6 2.24-8 ii libipset3 6.30-2 ipset recommends no packages. ipset suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
