This report has been partially addressed: the sudo package is configured by default to use the /var/run/sudo directory to hold timestamps.
The man pages sudo(8) and sudoers(5) reflect this configuration. The problem is that the directory is never created by the package, and so the whole timestamp functionality is missing unless the user creates the directory manually. $ grep var /var/lib/dpkg/info/sudo.* $ If the omission was intentional, perhaps the man pages should at least suggest to the users that some action on their part is expected in order for timestamps to work. -- paul -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
