Package: openbsd-inetd Version: 0.20160825-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
New version of the package does not create the PID file in /var/run/inetd.pid anymore. This was previously used by update-inetd to reload the daemon after updating the configuration. AFAICT, PID needs to be created by the systemd service and the init script. This was discovered via csync2 package that calls update-inetd in postinst but the service is not available anymore after installation - a manual restart of openbsd-inetd is required now. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages openbsd-inetd depends on: ii init-system-helpers 1.46 ii libbsd0 0.8.3-1 ii libc6 2.24-8 ii libevent-2.0-5 2.0.21-stable-2.1 ii libwrap0 7.6.q-25 ii lsb-base 9.20161125 ii tcpd 7.6.q-25 ii update-inetd 4.43 openbsd-inetd recommends no packages. openbsd-inetd suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
