So installing budgie-desktop will now suddenly make nm-applet start under GNOME (if installed in parallel)? If what you say is correct (BUDGIE:GNOME matching GNOME for some reason) this needs a different fix. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
