Hello,

thanks for the report. Could you reconfirm with upstream that he agrees
with merging it because I don't see a reply to your mailing list post.
If we had more time left before the freeze, we could test it in unstable
and testing but since we are very close to the deadline I am rather
reluctant to apply it now. However if upstream is happy with it, I'm not
against applying it.
