Package: python-pydot Version: 1.0.28-2 Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer, There seems to be some version mismatch causing confusion for this package. While the version in the package archive is 1.0.28-2, it looks like the egg-info installed by it use 1.0.29 instead. For instance /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pydot-1.0.29.egg-info/PKG-INFO (more https://packages.debian.org/sid/all/python-pydot/filelist) This is the case for both python- and python3-version of the package. See also https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pydot/+bug/1609585 for a corresponding bug report in Ubuntu. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages python-pydot depends on: ii graphviz 2.38.0-16 ii python-pkg-resources 32.0.0-1 ii python-pyparsing 2.1.10+dfsg1-1 pn python:any <none> python-pydot recommends no packages. python-pydot suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- mvh / best regards Hans Joachim Desserud http://desserud.org
