Package: python-pydot
Version: 1.0.28-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

There seems to be some version mismatch causing confusion for this
package. While the version in the package archive is 1.0.28-2,
it looks like the egg-info installed by it use 1.0.29 instead.
For instance
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pydot-1.0.29.egg-info/PKG-INFO
(more https://packages.debian.org/sid/all/python-pydot/filelist)

This is the case for both python- and python3-version of the
package.

See also https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pydot/+bug/1609585
for a corresponding bug report in Ubuntu.
