Fedora is keeping netpbm up2date [0] with a bunch of (security) patch.

Might be quite time consuming to try to forwardport all the patches that were applied over a 14years+ period of time.

Shouldn't we just try to stick with the fedora patches for now (well for the buster cycle?) and see how the things are going?
