ok thanks for the explanation, a bit sleepy already,
so the problem is that ohci-hcd doesn't survive suspending.

what about blacklisting in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
than mkinitramfs won't load it.
would break eventual boot tests from your usb stick although..

there seem to exist newer bios for your laptop saw mention of an 1.06,
but fujutsu apparently charges for the flashing..
