android-platform-frameworks-native fails to cross build from source, because it uses the build architecture C++ compiler (as a GNU make builtin). Indirecting the make invocation through dh_auto_build fixes the problem, because debhelper knows when to supply cross compilers. Please consider applying the attached patch. Helmut
