Package: chromium Version: 55.0.2883.75-5 Followup-For: Bug #851692 I really thought this was just a coarse bug, but it seems this is not the case. The new behavior is going to break a lot of setups.
In my opinion the right thing to do is to ask the user during the dpkg configuration process, leaving the remote extensions enabled by default (installation and upgrade). Paride
