OK, sure. I have downgraded to tightvncserver_1.3.9-8_amd64.deb then moved /etc/X11/Xvnc-session aside so my own ~/.vnc/xstartup was used, then started the VNC server as usual (and identically to how I started tigervncserver). Both problems were gone: Firefox was rendered in correct colours, and PDFs in mupdf could be zoomed mostly fluently, and much more than in tigervncserver – I’ve not stopped the latter, so I can compare them side by side (running on different X displays). So, yes, it’s purely an issue of the server. bye, //mirabilos -- tarent solutions GmbH Rochusstraße 2-4, D-53123 Bonn • http://www.tarent.de/ Tel: +49 228 54881-393 • Fax: +49 228 54881-235 HRB 5168 (AG Bonn) • USt-ID (VAT): DE122264941 Geschäftsführer: Dr. Stefan Barth, Kai Ebenrett, Boris Esser, Alexander Steeg
