Package: w3m Version: 0.5.3-34 Severity: normal Seems like -cols defaults to 80 or so. This default cannot be removed, and it's not in the configuration file. Moreover, -cols 0 does not work (it would be a reasonable way to say: 'no default'). So right now, I am forced to set -cols 65535 or some other high number.
It would be nice if the default was just removed, please. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_NZ, LC_CTYPE=en_NZ.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages w3m depends on: ii libc6 2.24-9 ii libgc1c2 1:7.4.2-8 ii libgpm2 1.20.4-6.2 ii libssl1.1 1.1.0c-4 ii libtinfo5 6.0+20161126-1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-4 Versions of packages w3m recommends: ii ca-certificates 20161130 Versions of packages w3m suggests: pn cmigemo <none> ii curl 7.52.1-1 pn dict <none> pn dict-wn <none> pn dictd <none> pn libsixel-bin <none> ii man-db 2.7.6.1-2 ii mime-support 3.60 pn mpv <none> pn w3m-el <none> pn w3m-img <none> ii wget 1.18-4 ii xdg-utils 1.1.1-1 pn xsel <none> -- no debconf information -- .''`. martin f. krafft <[email protected]> @martinkrafft : :' : proud Debian developer `. `'` http://people.debian.org/~madduck `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing systems
